The Third Installment of Knives Out - The actor who starred in "Dune" is present.

The latest high-profile cast member for "Knives Out 3" has been announced. Actor Josh Brolin is joining the third installment of the crime series that also stars Daniel Craig. This information comes from reliable sources at "The Hollywood Reporter." Brolin recently played warlord Gurney Halleck in "Dune 2" and the Avengers antagonist Thanos in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Confirmed Actors for "Knives Out 3"

Brolin now joins a lineup of renowned actors for the upcoming "Knives Out" sequel. Earlier this year, two up-and-coming stars, Josh O'Connor (age 34) and Cailee Spaeny (age 25), were confirmed to star in the film. O'Connor has appeared in movies like "Challengers - Rivals" and is known for his roles in "Civil War" and "Priscilla." Spaeny is known for her part in "Civil War" as well as "Elvis' Widow."

The newest high-profile additions to the cast are Kerry Washington (age 47) and Andrew Scott (age 47). While Washington is famous for her work in the series "Scandal," Scott has gained momentum recently. He starred in Netflix's "Ripley" as a character created by Patricia Highsmith and appeared in the critically acclaimed movie "All of Us Strangers."

Previously, Oscar-nominated actress Glenn Close (age 77), Jeremy Renner (age 53), and Mila Kunis (age 40, known for "Bad Moms") were also added to the cast. Now, Brolin brings his experience with blockbuster films to the project.

In the upcoming third film, Daniel Craig will reprise his role as private detective Benoit Blanc. "Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery" is the official title for part 3. Rian Johnson, who directed and wrote the first two films, is once again taking on the responsibility for both roles. The plot of "Knives Out 3" remains a mystery, and a release date before 2025 on Netflix is unlikely.
