Princess Anne reports back - Term in a hospital
Princess Anne (73) visited a hospital in Worcestershire to open a new A&E department. This was reportedly a significant endeavor for the sister of King Charles (75). Princess Anne is currently taking only select appointments following a head injury, according to reports.
Staff at the hospital were reportedly thrilled about the high-profile visit, according to "Worcester News." After Princess Anne's appearance at the new department of Worcestershire Royal Hospital, where she reportedly unveiled a memorial plaque, everyone was "impressed." "The Princess was very interested in what we do, why we designed it this way, and who was involved in the design. She asked a lot of questions and spoke to many members of the team," a witness quoted in the report said.
Princess Anne was hospitalized in June
Princess Anne was discharged from a hospital on June 28. She had been in Southmead Hospital in Bristol for five days due to a light head injury and whiplash. The Princess reportedly returned to her estate, Gatcombe Park in Minchinhampton, Gloucestershire, after her release. She allegedly sustained the light injury on her estate. It's believed she was injured by a horse, according to British media reports.
Since mid-July, Princess Anne has been taking appointments again. Some public engagements were reportedly removed from her calendar as per media reports. The 73-year-old is the British royal family member with the most public engagements. At the beginning of the year, following the public disclosure of King Charles' and his daughter-in-law Princess Catherine's (42) cancer diagnoses, she reportedly increased her already heavy workload.
After her hospital stay due to a head injury and whiplash in June, King Charles' sister, Princess Anne, began taking only select appointments. During her visit to open the new A&E department in Worcestershire, the Royals showed their support for the initiative, with King Charles following her lead. Despite the incident, Princess Anne continues to be the royal family member with the most public engagements, returning to her duties with determination.
