Princess Beatrice (36) seems to be thriving in her role as an aunt. On Thursday, Princess Eugenie (34) shared a sweet snapshot on Instagram to celebrate her older sister's 36th birthday. In the photo, the niece of British King Charles III (75) is seen beaming at one of her two nephews while wearing a bunny ears hairband. Other photos show the daughters of Prince Andrew (64) and Sarah Ferguson (64) enjoying a trip together.

"What an inspiration you are"

Under the post, Princess Eugenie expresses her affection for her sister and reveals her nickname: "Happy birthday, dearest Beabea!! What an inspiration you are. You've paved the way for your little sister," she writes, adding, "Love you."

Aunt to two nephews

Princess Beatrice has two nephews, Ernest (1) and August (3), from Princess Eugenie's marriage to Jack Brooksbank (38). The couple exchanged vows in October 2018 at the St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle.

The birthday girl has also started a family. In September 2021, she welcomed her daughter Sienna with Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi (40), whom she married in 2020. In addition to her princess title, she was recently named the best-dressed Briton by Tatler magazine.

Princess Eugenie affectionately refers to her sister Princess Beatrice as "dearest Beabea" in her Instagram post, further highlighting their close bond.In a tribute to her sister's achievements, Princess Eugenie acknowledges Beatrice's role as an inspiration and mentor in her life.
