The Swedish royal clan of Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip expands once more. The duo is anticipating their fourth offspring. The royal residence confirmed this news on September 2nd.

Prince Carl Philip is the heir of King Carl XVI. Gustaf

The announcement was made alongside a delightful snapshot of Prince Carl Philip, the son of King Carl XVI. Gustaf and Queen Silvia, and his spouse Sofia, posted on Instagram. In the statement, it was disclosed: "Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia joyfully share that Princess Sofia is carrying their fourth child." Sofia's well-being is reported to be excellent. This is further reinforced by the fact that there are no reported schedule modifications for the 39-year-old princess for the approaching autumn season.

Will their new arrival be a boy or a girl?

Their forthcoming child is projected to make its entry around four years after their third child, who made its debut in the summer of 2015. The projected delivery date is February 2025, as revealed by the palace. The youngest of the family, Prince Julian of Sweden, entered the world in March 2021. His elder siblings, Princes Gabriel and Alexander, came into existence in 2017 and 2016, respectively.

On Instagram, the couple frequently posts photos of their kids and shares unique images like birthday portraits.

Princess Sofia and Prince Carl Philip eagerly await the gender reveal of their fourth child, set to be born in February 2025. This new addition will join their growing family, which includes sons Alexander, born in 2016, Gabriel, born in 2017, and youngest member, Prince Julian, born in 2021.
