Despite not yet winning the title of "Germany's Next Topmodel," Jermaine (20) and Lea (24) have experienced a dream come true on the show. These two contestants have secured a dream job with the sports and lifestyle brand Fila. Their Fila collection will be sold at Deichmann stores. This brand holds a nostalgic factor for both, as it brings back memories of their childhoods.
Special Connection with Fila
Lea recalls, "My German grandfather gave me a blue Fila sweater when I was little, and I wore it every day. So, it was even more fulfilling for me to be able to do this job since I can also link my childhood experiences with it." Meanwhile, Jermaine shared a similar experience, "You're just familiar with the brand. It's an honor to be its ambassador and represent it in its advertising campaign, especially for such a well-known brand." They didn't realize the connection they had with Leni Klum (20), Heidi Klum's (51) daughter, who was also a model for the brand.
Expanding Horizons and Enjoying the Journey
Lea and Jermaine feel they've made it in the fashion industry. Jermaine, who was already used to being in front of the camera as a content creator, finds shooting for modeling campaigns even more enjoyable. Leaving his previous job as a business developer hasn't been a challenge for Lea either, "Modeling is so much fun. Time flies by!"
The season finale is approaching
This was the last job awarded in the current 19th season, which was the first time both women and men participated. On June 11, the semi-finals will take place, and the final winner of the season will be announced on June 13 in the grand finale.
Both contestants have had a great experience on the television show. Lea remarked, "The thing I'm taking away from this season is genuine friendships. You meet people who you immediately form emotional bonds with. And in a way, I feel even more comfortable with myself. I was already like that before." Jermaine agreed, "You need to stand up for yourself and be confident in your own worth. If you don't, you'll go crazy in this industry. I've learned so much about myself during the show that I just need to be who I truly am."
