Still got tickets for the Germany game? No problem - for 2000 Euro

While the free ticket sales for the European Championships were a complete success, Uefa still has a number of remaining tickets in the VIP area. A ticket for the final, for example, costs 5900 euros - plus tax.

EM 2024 - Still got tickets for the Germany game? No problem - for 2000 Euro

When the German football national team plays against Denmark at Dortmunder Stadion on Saturday for the quarterfinals, the stadium will be full – if one can believe it. All 2.7 million tickets for the EM-games from the official sale are sold out, according to Uefa. This also applies to the tickets for the German team against Denmark. However, there is now only the possibility to get the last tickets through a Uefa resale platform. However, this usually concerns individual tickets. Those who want to attend the game in larger groups have it hard.

There is, however, a possibility for this, which the Uefa hardly promotes – probably also because the prices do not allow a broad target group. However, anyone who looks at the Uefa website currently sees a lot of freely available tickets, supposedly for every game – and that: in the VIP area.

For impulsive DFB fans, for example, there are still tickets available in the "Club" category. Cost: 2000 Euro, without taxes. Fans, however, enjoy an "exceptional player experience with exquisite catering and first-class service at the Uefa EURO 2024TM", according to the website. In Dortmund, where the quarterfinals take place, this includes, for example, "a selection of warm and cold street food snacks served at stations" and a "seat behind the goal". A parking space is available on request (regular stadium visitors know that the VIP parking lot in Dortmund does not offer any advantages).

EURO 2024 VIP Tickets still available

As to how many VIP tickets are still available, Uefa does not make any statements on inquiry. The utilization is said to be comparable to the EM 2016 in France, according to inquiry. Not even four percent of all tickets were reserved for VIPs.

As of today, there are still tickets available for all games. Even for the final on July 14 at Olympiastadion, there are still VIP tickets in two categories available. Cost: from 5900 Euro, without taxes. The most expensive variant "Maifeld Garden" costs 10,900 Euro plus taxes. Disadvantage in both cases: catering is not available in Olympiastadion itself, but only in "exclusive lounge areas on the Maifeld" – the green area behind the Marathon gate. However, there is a lot included. From a "fine dining experience" to "Champagne and premium spirits". In addition, "Category 1 premium seat placements", in the cheaper case "seats in the upper tier".

What the Uefa does with the remaining tickets is hardly understandable. In the end, the games are considered "sold out", even though VIP tickets can still be bought right up to a few hours beforehand. In most cases, they then go to Uefa partners, who can invite employees and customers with them.

Despite the sold-out status of regular tickets for the DFB's quarterfinal match against Denmark, VIP ticket sales for EURO 2024 remain available. For instance, impulsive DFB fans can still purchase tickets in the "Club" category for 2000 Euro.

Interestingly, Uefa does not disclose the exact number of VIP tickets still available for the tournament, but there are still options, even for the final on July 14, starting from 5900 Euro without taxes.
