Peaky Blinders film - Star of the Mission: Impossible series
Beginning of June, "Deadline" reported that Netflix was planning a film for the gangster series "Peaky Blinders." It was only known at the time that Cillian Murphy (48) would return as Birmingham gang leader Tommy Shelby. According to "Deadline," another role in the film has been cast.

The filming of the "Peaky Blinders" film is expected to begin this year. Tom Harper, who directed the first season of the popular series, is set to direct the untitled film. The screenplay is by "Peaky Blinders" creator Steven Knight (64). Details about the plot are being kept under wraps. Knight mentioned in an April interview with "Deadline" that a film story might take place during World War II.
