NFL - St. Brown sets career-best for touchdowns
Amon-Ra St. Brown has caught his sixth touchdown, equaling his best score from the previous NFL season.
The 24-year-old German-American scored in the Detroit Lions' 33:28 win over the New Orleans Saints. After his touchdown and extra point in the first quarter, the Lions already led 21:0, but still had to tremble against the Saints for their ninth win of the season. After a good start, things didn't go smoothly for St. Brown either. Only two passes caught on six throws in his direction were the negative figure of his season.
With nine wins and three defeats, the Lions now have a better record after twelve games than they have had since 1962. They can plan for their first playoff appearance since the 2016/2017 season.
The Miami Dolphins, who won 45-15 against the Washington Commanders, also have nine wins and three defeats. Dolphins pass receiver Tyreek Hill scored two touchdowns and extended his lead at the top of the leaderboard.
