Track and Field Competitions - Sprinter Lückenkemper ready for European Championships without any issues.

Gina Lückenkemper is determined to attend the European Athletics Championships in Rome where she intends to safeguard her titles in the 100 meters and with the German relay team. She hasn't participated in any competitions for the last two weeks since the meet in Dessau-Roßlau, where she missed the final due to minor muscle distress. According to Lückenkemper, her muscles have no longer been bothering her since the treatment.

Lückenkemper, who is from Westphalia and started her career at SCC Berlin, expressed that they will have thrilling races because of their close competition. "We can look forward to exciting races because we're all so close together," she said, and chuckled, "We're running in the Olympic Stadium, and I love Olympic Stadiums." In 2018 in Berlin, she earned silver in her individual event, and two years ago in Munich, she won both titles. She will first compete in the 100 meters on Saturday and Sunday.

Krause is also back to full health

The two-time European champion in the 3000-meter hurdles, Gesa Felicitas Krause, has recovered entirely following a tooth operation, said the 31-year-old. "Everything is fine again," she affirmed. Krause qualified for the Olympics in Paris in her first race over the 3000 meters hurdles after her maternity leave and will compete in the heats on Friday. "It would be a shame if I didn't come back with a medal," claimed the former world bronze medalist.

Malaika Mihambo, the Olympic long jump champion and two-time world champion, enters the competitions calm and confident. "I take this very seriously, it's the most crucial competition after Paris," said the 30-year-old. Mihambo fully recuperated from her muscle tear from the previous summer.
