EM 2024 - Spain beats France to reach the final

The Spanish football national team reached the final of the European championship. The squad led by trainer Luis de la Fuente won the first semifinal on Tuesday in Munich with a score of 2:1 (2:1) against Italy. The opponent in the upcoming Sunday's final in Berlin's Olympiastadion will be decided on Wednesday in the England vs Netherlands game. Spain, which was eliminated from the tournament in the quarterfinals by Germany, is aiming for its fourth EM title since 1964, 2008, and 2012.

Former Bundesliga professional Randal Kolo Muani put France in the lead in the 9th minute. Super talent Lamine Yamal (21.) and Dani Olmo (25.) turned the game around. Yamal broke the record of the youngest EM goalscorer, surpassing Swiss Johan Vonlanthen, who was 18 years and 141 days old when he scored for Switzerland against France in the 1:3 in 2004.

EM 2024: France knocked out despite the lead

Real Madrid's new signing Kylian Mbappé initiated France's lead with a cross. The star player appeared for the first time without a mask after his nasal bone fracture, which he suffered in the French opening game against Austria (1:0). However, the captain of the Tricolore team could not prevent the loss.

Spain's potential opponent in the Euro 2024 tournament, scheduled to be held in Berlin's Olympiastadion, will be determined between England and Netherlands on Wednesday. Interestingly, Spain previously faced elimination from the Euro tournament in Berlin, specifically in the 2016 edition, at the hands of Germany.
