Large honor for Usher (45): At the BET Awards, the singer was honored yesterday for his body of work. Black Entertainment Television acknowledges African American musicians, actors, and athletes every year. Usher was recognized on the stage of the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles with a musical tribute. Colleagues and colleagues like Childish Gambino (40), Keke Palmer (30), and Victoria Monét (35) sang his songs. "Step up for your daughters and sons and guide them", he called out. He turned to his ex-wife Tameka Foster (53) with a promise to try this. The former couple has a common son. In total, Usher is the father of four children.

At the BET Awards, Usher was also awarded as the best R&B/Pop Singer of the Year. His current album "Coming Home" was also nominated for best album.

Usher mentioned his life's work, revealing that his father, also named Usher, abandoned him during his rise to fame as a baby superstar. Reflecting on his past, Usher expressed forgiveness towards his absent father, urging fathers to be present in their children's lives. Hollywood stars like Jennifer Hudson and Toni Braxton appeared in a video montage, highlighting Usher's illustrious career and offering their warm comments. In his emotional speech, Usher also referred to his personal life, promising to be a better father to his son with ex-wife Tameka Foster, thereby becoming the father of four children in total. Later, the Super Bowl halftime headliner, Kevin Hart, added his praises to Usher's life's work, highlighting his enduring impact on the music industry.
