Cypress Hill with London Symphony Orchestra - "Simpsons" gag comes true

"The Simpsons" episode "Homer on Tournee" (Original title: "Homerpalooza"), first aired in 1996, contains a gag that has reportedly left such an impression on the fans of rap group Cypress Hill that it's now coming to life in reality. In this episode, the rappers ("I Wanna Get High") perform together with the London Symphony Orchestra at a music festival. And that's exactly what will happen in the real world on the evening of July 10 in London, as reported by the British "BBC".

Cypress Hill, fans' long-standing wish

The group will take the stage at the prestigious Royal Albert Hall in London alongside the Symphony Orchestra to perform their legendary 1993 album "Black Sunday". The classical musicians support the rap group with "unique orchestral arrangements of the band's most famous songs", as reported by the "BBC". The hit "Insane in the Brain" from "Black Sunday" was heard in the aforementioned "Simpsons" episode.

Since the broadcast of the iconic "Simpsons" episode, fans of Cypress Hill have not only wished for a joint performance with the London Orchestra. "We've been talking about it for years since the 'Simpsons' episode first aired," explained B-Real (Louis Mario Freese, 54) to the "BBC".

"The Simpsons" are known for their accurate predictions

With the joint performance of the rap group and the London Symphonists, a scene from "The Simpsons" is coming true in a way - albeit intentionally orchestrated. Many other "predictions" of the series, which has been on the air since 1989, continue to cause wonder when they come true in real life. For instance, an episode from the year 2000, in which Lisa Simpson becomes President of the USA, humoristically predicted a Donald Trump presidency (78).

  1. Fans of Cypress Hill have eagerly waited for the day when the rap group would perform with the London Symphony Orchestra, a dream that was sparked by their appearance in the "Simpsons" episode "Homerpalooza" back in 1996.
  2. B-Real, a member of Cypress Hill, revealed to the BBC that the idea of performing with the London Symphony Orchestra had been discussed since the iconic episode aired, and now, they are finally making it a reality.
  3. The news of Cypress Hill with London Symphony Orchestra performing at the Royal Albert Hall in London on July 10 has been reported by the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC).
  4. In the episode of "The Simpsons," Cypress Hill performed their hit song "Insane in the Brain" alongside the London Symphony Orchestra, a scene that is now set to become a reality in the real world.
  5. The joint performance of Cypress Hill and the London Symphony Orchestra is not the only prediction from "The Simpsons" that has come true in real life; the show, which started airing in 1989, is known for its uncanny predictions that continue to surprise audiences.
