Adele - She visits the stadium construction site in Munich

Not long now, Adele (36) begins her Mini-Residency in Munich: In total, the British superstar will play ten concerts starting from early August in the Bavarian state capital. The construction of the pop-up stadium built specifically for Adele in Munich's Riem fairgrounds is already in full swing. Adele paid a visit to the construction site and shared impressions on Instagram.

"This is all a little bloody exciting," she wrote in several photos. One photo shows her wearing a hi-vis vest, looking at the pop-up stadium from a distance. In another snapshot, the singer is laughing in a construction site vehicle.

Not only Adele herself is looking forward to the concerts in Munich: In the comment section, moderator Palina Rojinski (39) writes that she "can hardly wait".

Five weeks, ten concerts

Adele will perform over a five-week period, with shows every other weekend starting from August 2. These concerts mark Adele's first performances on the European mainland since 2016 and her only shows in Europe in 2024.

The arena built specifically for the Mini-Residency is expected to have a diameter of approximately 300 meters, with around 80,000 fans able to attend each night. Less than a month before the concerts begin, tickets are not yet fully sold out.

Adele's visit to the construction site in Munich's Riem fairgrounds was documented on her Instagram, where she expressed her excitement about the upcoming concerts. Many fans are also eagerly anticipating the events, as evidenced by Palina Rojinski's comment in the Instagram section. The Munich Fairgrounds, known for hosting various events, will also serve as the venue for Adele's Mini-Residency concerts, with construction ongoing to prepare a pop-up stadium that can accommodate up to 80,000 fans each night.
