Glances featured a remarkable performance by Barcelona's up-and-coming star, Lamine Yammal, a third hat-trick from Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane, and a goal by Real Madrid's ace, Kylian Mbappé.

Here's what you might have missed from the top leagues across Europe this weekend.

Spain's La Liga

If you weren't familiar with Lamine Yammal before now, then you certainly should be.

The 17-year-old is widely recognized as one of the most promising young talents in global football and showcased his prowess again in Barcelona's 4-1 victory over Girona on Sunday.

The teen sensation scored two first-half goals – now boasting three goals and four assists in La Liga this season – to pave the way for the Blaugrana, with Dani Olmo and Pedri adding to Girona's woes later on.

Barcelona remains undefeated in its league games this season, sitting comfortably at the top with a four-point lead over its closest rivals.

Hot on Barcelona's heels, though, is Real Madrid.

Real Madrid is currently tied with two other teams just four points behind the league leader and manager Carlo Ancelotti's side kept the pressure on with a 2-0 win against Real Sociedad on Saturday.

Madrid's star players Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior shared penalty-taking duties, bagging a goal each in the second half to clinch the victory.

Star player Kylian Mbappe successfully converted a penalty, contributing to Real Madrid's victorious 2-0 finale.

Real Madrid has yet to lose a league game this season but showed signs of vulnerability against Sociedad, with the host hitting the post three times over the course of the match.

Germany's Bundesliga

Elsewhere in Europe, former Tottenham Hotspur star Kane continued his impressive inaugural campaign with a hat-trick for Bayern Munich.

The 31-year-old Englishman terrorized Holstein Kiel in Bayern's 6-1 rout, scoring thrice and adding an assist for a four-goal haul in just one match.

Bayern's opening goal came following just 15 seconds, with Kane heading the ball to Jamal Musiala, whose shot secured Bayern's quickest-ever away goal in Bundesliga history.

Kane then doubled his tally in the first half before completing his hat-trick with a late-minute penalty, marking his fifth hat-trick in just 35 Bundesliga appearances.

Bayern now leads the Bundesliga, two points ahead of Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig. Reigning league champion Bayer Leverkusen lies in fifth place after suffering a loss in one of its three games to date.

Italy's Serie A

In Italy, Napoli extended its strong start to the new campaign with a 4-0 win against Cagliari.

At the weekend, Bayern's Harry Kane netted a hat-trick once again.

Goals from Giovanni Di Lorenzo, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Romelu Lukaku, and Alessandro Buongiorno ensured Napoli's unbeaten run in the league, keeping the Neapolitans atop Serie A.

Inter Milan and Juventus both drew matches this weekend, resulting in their descent below Napoli in the table.

England's Premier League

In England, Manchester City remained unbeaten after a comeback win against Brentford on Saturday.

City fell behind within just 23 seconds, but Erling Haaland's two goals handed the Manchester side a 2-1 victory.

The Norwegian nearly picked up a hat-trick for the club but still boasts an impressive tally of nine goals from the opening four league games this season.

Meanwhile, Arsenal matched City's pace with a tense 1-0 win against local rival Tottenham in the North London Derby on Sunday.

Defender Gabriel scored the decisive goal with a powerful header, moving Arsenal into second place, just two points behind City.

Football is the passion that unites fans across Europe, and this weekend was no exception. Lamine Yammal, Barcelona's promising young talent, displayed his skill in a football match against Girona, scoring two goals and contributing to his team's victory. Despite the impressive performance by Yammal, football is more than just an individual sport, as highlighted by Harry Kane's hat-trick in Bayern Munich's game against Holstein Kiel.

Napolitans clinch first position in Serie A following a triumphant 4-0 match over the weekend.
