Will 'Yellowstone' carry on? - Scheduleized for Sixth Season
Today, it surfaced that the second segment of Yellowstone's fifth season will drop in Germany this November. For a while, viewers anticipated that this neo-western show would conclude with season 5B. However, as suggested by trade publications like "Variety," there are plans for a sixth season as well. Reportedly, contract discussions are ongoing with the new primary cast members.
Is a sixth season of Yellowstone on the horizon?
Although the contracts haven't been sealed yet, it's rumored that the show will carry on with Kelly Reilly (47) and Cole Hauser (49) at the helm. Reilly portrays Beth Dutton, the headstrong and frequently tempestuous offspring of the previous main character, John Dutton III, played by Kevin Costner (69).
Costner won't be part of season 5B, which is why it was widely believed that the second half of season five would mark the end of this successful series.
Interestingly, it was in August that we learned that screen legend Michelle Pfeiffer (66) will assume the lead role in the upcoming Yellowstone spin-off, "The Madison." The third spin-off, following "1883" and "1923," will take place in the present day and could potentially pick up where Yellowstone left off. Yellowstone has been the most successful drama series on US television in recent years.
Based on the information provided in trade publications like "Variety," there seems to be a plan for a sixth season of Yellowstone. Despite ongoing contract discussions with the new primary cast members, including Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, it's unclear if Yellowstone is truly going any further beyond season 5B.
