Schalke win in Nuremberg - Fürth celebrate victory at Lautern

FC Schalke 04, relegated from the first division, have celebrated their first away win of the 2nd Bundesliga season.

The team of new coach Karel Geraerts won the traditional duel at 1. FC Nürnberg with a goal from substitute Danny Latza in the 89th minute and left the relegation zone after their second win in a row.

SpVgg Greuther Fürth were also able to celebrate thanks to a 2-0 (1-0) win at 1. FC Kaiserslautern. The Franconians climbed further up the table with 18 points. Penultimate-placed VfL Osnabrück fought their way to a 1:1 (0:0) draw against Holstein Kiel.

Schalke 04's victory over 1. FC Nürnberg in the Bundesliga 2 means they move out of the relegation zone, following Danny Latza's late goal. Meanwhile, SpVgg Greuther Fürth also celebrated a win in their match against 1. FC Kaiserslautern, maintaining their position in the league standings.
