Galaxy Unpacked - Samsung presents new hardware

## Samsung Sponsor Introduces New Products in Paris: Galaxy Ring, Galaxy Watch Ultra, and Foldable Galaxy Z Fold 6

Samsung presented a series of new products in Paris, which are expected to hit the market this year. Among them is the "Galaxy Ring," a new wearable that is becoming increasingly popular. Additionally, the announcement of a Ray-Tracing capable device and a seven-year update guarantee for new devices was made. The latest "Galaxy Unpacked" highlights are as follows.

By the end of this year, Samsung aims to bring "Galaxy AI" to up to 200 million devices for its customers. The AI, which Samsung is getting support from Google's "Gemini," supports 16 languages and offers AI functions such as extended search and translation services. Furthermore, "Cross Device Intelligence" is expected to enable seamless interaction between various devices. During the presentation, Samsung emphasized several times that users should have control over which data they share and which they want to keep private. In addition, the presented devices, all of which will be available from July 24, will receive a seven-year update guarantee for security and operating system updates.

Samsung Ring: A Newcomer Among Smart Wearables

The Galaxy Ring is a new addition to Samsung's portfolio. The ring, available in sizes 5 to 13 in US measurements, is equipped with three sensors that measure sleep quality and heart rate. The data is sent to the "Samsung Health" app, which interacts with the AI to interpret the results. Samsung promises a battery life of one week for the waterproof ring made of titanium, as well as hundreds of charging cycles and the beginning of the "AI Health" era. Samsung presented the water-resistant ring in Paris for $399, but sells it in Germany for €449.

Samsung also focuses on health with the Galaxy Watch Ultra. It is waterproof up to 10 meters and equipped with a 3-nanometer processor, which allows for an energy-saving battery life of up to 100 hours, according to Samsung. However, it was not mentioned during the presentation whether this is still valid when using the "Dual Frequency GPS" function, which allows location tracking using two satellites instead of one. The watch runs on WearOS 5, marking a first for Samsung watches. The price is €699.

Foldable Phone: Samsung Presents Its Sixth Generation

The new foldable smartphone "Galaxy Z Fold 6" comes with a brighter inner display (2,600 Nits). Although it is thinner, it is also more durable than its predecessor. The bezel around the screen is also narrower. This makes it the thinnest and lightest foldable device Samsung has ever produced (239 grams). The main highlight, however, is expected from gamers, as Samsung promises a ray-tracing capable device with the "Z Fold 6." For this much technology, one must dig deep into the wallet: €1,999 for 256 GB, €2,119 for 512 GB, and €2,359 for 1 TB.

The "Galaxy Z Flip 6" comes with its most powerful camera to date: This 50-Megapixel camera is supposedly enhanced further with the so-called "Pro Visual Engine." This refers to AI-based image optimization and flexible camera functions such as AutoZoom and Instant-Slow-Mo. In addition, the main display has also received an update to the aforementioned 2.600 Nits, and the manufacturer claims the battery capacity is around ten percent larger than that of its predecessors. Prices range from 1,199 Euro for the 256-GB version to 1,319 Euro for the 512-GB variant.

In Your Ears: AI-Designed Earbuds

Samsung also introduced the "Galaxy Buds 3 Pro." According to the company's own statements, they were designed with AI assistance. Ears are as unique as fingerprints, so an AI analyzed ear shapes and created the ideal fit. The result should even be able to recognize how loosely or tightly they are in the ear and adjust the sound accordingly. And with a sound quality of 96 kHz, which is double that of previous models. The "Galaxy AI" is also integrated here and is expected to recognize sounds like a trumpet in the future and let it through even with active "Noise Cancelling." These will cost 249 Euro.

In collaboration with Google's "Gemini," Samsung plans to bring "Galaxy AI" to up to 200 million devices, offering extended search and translation services. The upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 will feature ray-tracing capabilities, catering to the gaming community. Samsung's new foldable device promises to be the thinnest and lightest of its kind, with a seven-year update guarantee for security and operating system updates. The Galaxy Watch Ultra, equipped with a 3-nanometer processor, offers an energy-saving battery life of up to 100 hours. Samsung's new wearable, the Galaxy Ring, is a waterproof titanium ring equipped with sleep quality and heart rate sensors, promising a battery life of one week.
