At noon, RTL's news program "Punkt 12" will get a refreshed look. Beginning in August, Sabrina Ilski will share hosting duties with Katja Burkard. Sabrina replaces Roberta Bieling, who moves on to "RTL Aktuell" with Christopher Wittich in the summer.
Originating from Recklinghausen, Ilski got her start at RTL Nord in Hamburg through an internship in 2011. She stayed on there after completing her internship, eventually becoming the chief of service and head of their editorial department. Throughout her career, she contributed as a reporter and writer for multiple RTL shows, such as "Punkt 12" and "Explosiv," as well as for Vox and ntv in front of the camera. Since 2015, she's been hosting the regional program "RTL Nord."
Sabrina Ilski Can't Wait to Be the Face of "Punkt 12"
Martin Gradl, RTL News' business manager, says, "With Sabrina Ilski, we have acquired a genuine investigative journalist for the host position. It also showcases the high-quality training and commitment that RTL NEWS has toward its journalists."
Sabrina Ilski shares her excitement about the opportunity: "Punkt 12 is my favorite news magazine in Germany. It's known for reliable, captivating, and entertaining reporting for years. I can't wait to anchor the show, along with Katja Burkard, and keep its legacy going."
She's had several experiences and interviewed many interesting people over the years. However, one encounter remains a dream: "I'd cut off an arm if I could work with Ryan Gosling. I'd probably forget all my questions, just stare at him, and make a complete fool of myself. But it'd be worth it."
Although she's not there yet, she's now a step closer with her switch to "Punkt 12."
