Ryan Gosling desires to reenact this standout moment in 'La La Land'.
In an amusing chat with the Wall Street Journal, the entertainer expressed his dissatisfaction with a specific scene in the movie.
"There's a moment that still bothers me, when Emma [Stone] and I are dancing," he said to the newspaper. "I didn't realize it would become the movie's poster."
"In the part where we're dancing, Emma and I were meant to have our hands pointing up. Instead, I decided to keep my hand flat instead of pointing towards the sky, even though I was told it wasn't a good idea."
"Imagine how much cooler it would have been if I raised my hand high up like this," he demonstrated, lifting his arm.
"I just went for the easy option, which I now call 'La La Hand,'" Gosling added.
He was astonished when the interviewer revealed that dancers call this movement "hamburger hands."
"Really? It's a thing?" he asked.
Additionally, Gosling stated that he thought his dance background would be useful for "La La Land."
"I thought having dance experience would come in handy," he joked, "but then here comes 'Hamburger Hands Gosling'."
Ultimately, he acknowledged that his background didn't prove to be helpful for this role.
