RTL Germany relies heavily on ZDF for content. The in-house streaming service RTL+ has acquired the broadcasting rights for numerous series from the public broadcaster. A press release reveals that this includes a total of 1,000 episodes. Among these are popular shows like "The Mountain Doctor" and "Wilsberg", long-running series such as "The Dream Ship" and "The Black Forest Clinic", and crime dramas like "Nord Nord Mord" and "Marie Brand".
Three waves of series arrivals
The series are set to release on RTL+ in three waves. The first wave begins on September 15, featuring crime dramas from "Wilsberg" to "Friesland". The second wave arrives on October 15, comprising drama series like "The Mountain Doctor", "The Mountain Rescue", and "Bettys Diagnosis". The third wave arrives on November 15, with classic shows like "The Dream Ship", "The Black Forest Clinic", and "I Marry a Family".
