Son of Christopher Reeve - Role in the new "Superman" movie
Forty-six years ago, Christopher Reeve (1952-2004) portrayed Superman on the big screen for the first time. Three more films featuring "The Man of Steel" with Reeve in the title role followed. TV Reporter in Real Life and on Screen
According to the site "cleveland.com," Will Reeve reportedly has a brief appearance in "Superman: Legacy" (2025). The film's production is currently underway, and the set photos reveal that the "Superman" actor David Corenswet (30) in his iconic blue-red suit drew many eyes during the shoot. However, a second look at the set photos apparently showed that Will Reeve was also present, portraying a small role, as reported.
The set photos depict the son of the "Superman" actor as a TV reporter, which is Will Reeve's real-life profession. He is currently employed as a reporter for "ABC News." According to the local report, Reeve received a hug from director James Gunn and a round of applause from the cast and crew on set after filming concluded.
Legendary Legacy of "Superman" Actor
From 1978 to 1987, Will Reeve's father portrayed Superman, or Clark Kent, who also worked as a journalist, in four films. In 1995, during a horse riding accident, Christopher Reeve broke two cervical vertebrae and was left quadriplegic from the neck down. In response, he and his wife Dana founded the "Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation." This organization assists individuals with spinal cord injuries and other neurological disorders. Will Reeve is a member of the foundation's board.
Christopher Reeve passed away in 2004 at the age of 52. Due to an infection he contracted from an open wound, he suffered a heart attack and slipped into a coma. He passed away the following day.
