Individuals have taken to changing their language. - Roland Kaiser: "I'm just like everyone else, no special significance."
Singer Roland Kaiser quickly transitions from being in front of thousands of fans to just one of many after leaving the stage, he revealed to the German Press Agency in Hamburg.
At 72 years old, he's comfortable going from the spotlight to being amongst the crowd. "I go from being the center of attention to blending in with the crowd in a matter of minutes," Kaiser shared. He doesn't carry the praise from the stage into the dressing room or let his stage success dictate his private life.
"I don't want to brag to people about my accomplishments or tell them how great I am. It's just my job and something I enjoy," he said. Once he's off the stage, he's back to being a regular person. "I'm not the star anymore, I'm just one of the many in the room, nothing more." This humble attitude may stem from his role as a father. Kaiser has three grown children.
The talented singer is on tour in Germany, Switzerland, and Austria for his 50th stage anniversary, performing at stadiums for the first time. The tour, titled "RK50 - 50 Years - 50 Hits - The Great Tour," began with a performance in Oberhof. This Saturday, he'll return to Oberhof for the second concert of the tour.
