De Niro's family spans over five decades. From his union with Diahnne Abbott (79), he fathered daughter Drena (52) and son Raphael (47). He shares twins Aaron and Julian (28) and son Elliott (25) with his ex-girlfriend Toukie Smith (71), as well as daughter Helen (11) with his former wife, Grace Hightower (68). In 2015, he met his current partner, Tiffany Chen, on a film set and started dating her in 2021.
The sprawling family endured a significant loss last year. Leandro Rodriguez, Drena's son and De Niro's grandson, passed away at 19 due to an overdose. In an interview with "People," he recalled the devastating moment. He initially could not comprehend the news: "It was a shock - I never thought something like that could happen." This experience reinforced the significance of spending quality time with loved ones.
