Olympic Games in Paris - Revolverheld deliver song for ARD

The July remains sporty - and musical. After the European Football Championship and the Wimbledon Tennis Tournament, it goes on with the Olympics and Paralympics in Paris starting from July 26. Public broadcasters are broadcasting the sports event. The ARD has now announced the song that will musically accompany and underscore their transmissions: "Einfach machen" is the title of the song, which was recorded by the music group Revolverheld specifically for the event.

"Einfach machen" was released on Friday

The single was released today on Friday. The musicians around frontman Johannes Strate (44) are proud to contribute as a "sports-enthusiastic band" a song to the "greatest global sports competition worldwide". All four of them have been big Olympic fans since their childhood.

For ARD-Sports Coordinator Axel Balkausky, "Einfach machen" is the "perfect title for our transmissions from Paris". He is enthusiastic: "Revolverheld has a heart for sports, which has been known since the European Football Championship 2008, when they sang the official national team fan song for the tournament."

Olympic Games start on July 26

The Olympic Games take place from July 26 to August 11 in Paris. The Paralympics start on August 28 and last until September 8.
