Real Madrid put pressure on Mbappé: sign soon or Haaland is coming
Is the poker between Kylian Mbappé and Real Madrid entering the next and perhaps final round? The French superstar has been a target for the Whites for years. In January, the Madrilenians are likely to make one last attempt on the striker. As things stand, Mbappé is still under contract with Paris Saint-Germain until next summer, meaning he could leave the club from the French capital on a free transfer in a few months' time. Real Madrid is still the most likely destination. However, several attempts have so far been unsuccessful.
- According to the Spanish newspaper "AS", the club now wants to make one last attempt to sign the superstar. Real Madrid are said to be preparing an offer for the 2018 world champion and will present it to him on 1 January. From then on, "Los Blancos" will be allowed to officially discuss a free transfer with the player.
- To avoid any further "back and forth", Madrid also want to give Mbappé an ultimatum. He has until January 15 to decide whether or not he wants to move to the Spanish capital next summer. There are to be no "verbal agreements" this time.
- Should Mbappé decide against a move to Real Madrid in the summer, the club will reportedly close the "Kylian file" for good and concentrate on another mega-star: Erling Haaland.
