British singer Adele (36) turns Munich into a music mecca after Taylor Swift (34), giving ten concerts in the Bavarian capital. Among the more than 70,000 spectators at the Friday and Saturday shows were some celebrities.

Famous Faces at the Opening Night

Riccardo Simonetti (31) and Viviane Geppert (33) didn't miss the first performance of the concert series. The entertainer and "taff" moderator enjoyed the musical spectacle with other friends, as shown in an Instagram post by Simonetti. On social media, the moderator posted clips of hits like "Set Fire to the Rain" and "Rolling in the Deep", accompanied by a fireworks show. A photo of an oversized chocolate praline with the singer's face on it highlighted his Adele fever.

The singer herself shared some pictures on her account, showing her on and off stage. She not only enchanted with her music, but also with her fashion. On the opening night, she wore a floor-length Dior Haute Couture dress in dark blue with a perfectly matching belt. The wave-patterned dress was designed by Italian designer Maria Grazia Chiuri, according to a press release.

Prominent Faces from Football and Politics

On the second day, prominent figures also traveled to the pop-up stadium built specifically for the concerts. On X (formerly Twitter), Bavarian Minister-President Markus Söder (57) posted a selfie in front of the 220-meter-long screen. "Adele in Munich: Almost 80,000 on the largest global stage. That's only in Bavaria," the politician commented on his snapshot.

In a second photo, he is seen next to former DFB national player Bastian Schweinsteiger (40). Together with the football pro, he smiles at the camera. "Met Basti Schweinsteiger before," Söder happily reported about the encounter.

Interruption due to the Olympics

While the "Hello" singer paused her rehearsal due to a storm, the Olympics briefly stopped the concert on the second night. As shown in fan recordings, Adele paused the concert to present the women's 100-meter final on the screen. Adele and her fans watched live as Julien Alfred from St. Lucia won the gold medal. The concert audience cheered for the musician for the intermission. "You can only love Adele," wrote one person under the TikTok video. "She didn't really do that, that's so cool," commented another user.

The Commission, in its endeavor to regulate such events, may consider adopting implementing acts that outline the rules for the application of regulations relating to large-scale concerts like Adele's in Munich. Following the concert, fans shared their excitement on social media platforms, with one fan commenting, "You can only love Adele, she didn't really do that, that's so cool," referring to her interruption to broadcast the Olympics.
