Princess Martha Louise, 52, and Durek Verrett, 49, are set to wed on August 31st at the Geirangerfjord in western Norway. Despite the couple's attempt to keep details private, bits of info have been escaping. Recently, a juicy piece of gossip has surfaced: allegedly, they're barring mobile phones from the wedding, and social media posts are also prohibited.

As per "Mail Online", this phone restriction allegedly stems from special deals the couple has supposedly sealed with "Hello Magazine" and Netflix. The streaming giant is said to be shooting a docuseries about the duo.

The magazine "Se og Hør" reported that a warning was sent to wedding guests on Tuesday, requesting them to refrain from publishing anything on their social media profiles. "Remember that mobile phones or cameras are not permitted at all throughout the entire weekend at all events. We also ask that you refrain from posting anything on social media," the email stated. It was emphasized that adhering to these guidelines is "very crucial", and guests were requested to take them seriously.

Engagement and Royal Departure in 2022

Martha Louise is the elder sister of Norwegian Crown Prince Haakon, 51, and the daughter of King Harald V., 87, and Queen Sonja, 87. She was married to author Ari Behn, 1972-2019, from 2002 to 2017, with whom she shares three daughters (born in 2003, 2005, and 2008). Since 2018, she has been in a relationship with American Durek Verrett, who works as a shaman. The couple got engaged in 2022, and their wedding will take place in Geiranger, a town in western Norway.

In November 2022, Martha Louise declared that she would no longer be performing official duties for the Norwegian royal house. However, King Harald granted her permission to retain her princess title. The palace explained that Martha Louise and Durek Verrett wished to more clearly distinguish their business activities from their court role as the reason for their departure.

After sealing special deals with Netflix, the streaming giant is reportedly set to film a docuseries about Princess Martha Louise and Durek Verrett. Guests attending their upcoming wedding at Geirangerfjord have been advised to refrain from using their mobile phones or posting on social media during the event, as the couple wants to keep the occasion private and avoid any leaked information.
