Speculations about a possible visit of Prince William and Princess Kate to Paris during the 2024 Olympic Games have been circulating for some time. However, whether they will actually travel there depends on how the British heir's wife, who is battling a cancer illness, is currently feeling. An insider hints that the sporting mega-event could possibly be good for Kate, while another speaks of her great desire to attend.
Palace insider emphasizes: Small victories are important
According to the US magazine "People", it is indeed possible that the two royals could make an appearance in Paris. Both William and Kate are known to be sports enthusiasts, and one of their few public appearances after announcing her cancer diagnosis reportedly did Kate good, according to an anonymous source.
Princess Kate is patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, which hosts the Wimbledon Championships. She attended the men's final of the tournament and presented the trophy to the winner, Carlos Alcaraz (21), to a standing ovation. "That would have given her strength.
