According to Disney+, the third season had 24% more calls than the previous season in the same period. The second season already saw a viewer increase of 70% following the surprising success of the first season, as "Variety" reports further.
German fans have to wait
The number of 5.4 million reportedly comes from the viewer numbers on Hulu, as well as on Hulu on Disney+ in the USA and Disney+ in international regions. However, the new season is not yet available in all regions. German fans also have to be patient. The third season of "The Bear: King of the Kitchen" starts on Disney+ in Germany on August 14, 2024.
The new episodes follow Carmy (White), Sidney (Ayo Edebiri, 28), Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach, 47), and the rest of the "The Bear" team after the opening of their namesake restaurant.
