Overall television programming - Planned XXL version in Lanxess Arena
"Television extravaganza," or "TV total," is turning into a Saturday night must-see: On August 31st, ProSeven is set to air a 120-minute live show at 8:15 p.m., pre-recorded two days earlier in the Lanxess Arena in Cologne. Host Sebastian Pufpaff (47) expresses his excitement about the "TV total XXL" event, comparing it to the legendary Wacken Open Air music festival. He encourages those who couldn't make it to the venue, which holds 20,000 seats, to enjoy the "biggest 'TV total' party of all time" on DVD.
The program will feature appearances not only from Sebastian Pufpaff but also "guests," the "TV total" house band, Heavytones, and other popular entertainment elements, such as "Blamieren or Kassieren" and musical acts like Roland Kaiser (72) and Electric Callboy.
Continuing the 'TV total' legacy with Sebastian Pufpaff
Stefan Raab (57) hosted "TV total" from 1999 until the end of his TV career in 2015. He now serves as a producer for the show, which was reintroduced in 2021 with Sebastian Pufpaff at the helm. Just a fortnight after the XXL night, Raab will make a comeback to the spotlight, this time stepping into the ring for a boxing match against Regina Halmich (47) after a 9-year break.
