- PGA Tour Final Winnings: Scheffler Bankrolls $25 Million

Top-ranked golfer Scottie Scheffler, boasting two major titles and an Olympic gold medal, has etched his name among the winners at the PGA Tour's year-end, ten-million-dollar event. The 28-year-old American clinched a comfortable victory on Sunday at East Lake Golf Club in Atlanta, wrapping up with a total of 264 strokes (-30). He outperformed fellow Americans Collin Morikawa (-26) and Sahith Theegala (-24). Scheffler's triumph netted him a $25 million (€22.6 million) bonus as the FedExCup champion.

This season, Scheffler has been golf's unstoppable force. Alongside his Tour Championship victory, he has bagged six PGA Tour titles, including his second Masters triumph in Augusta. At the Olympics in Paris, he claimed gold.

The exclusive structure of the Tour Championship saw Scheffler kick off the tourney on Thursday as the FedExCup leader, boasting a two-stroke edge over second-placed Xander Schauffele. The FedExCup disbursed a whopping $100 million ($90.4 million) in rewards to the athletes. Regrettably, no German golfers earned a spot in the season-ending tournament showcasing the top 30 players on the PGA Tour.

Scheffler celebrated his Tour Championship victory on a triumphant Sunday, extending his winning streak this season. Next week, he will relaxation on a well-deserved day off, as every golfer deserves a break after a successful Sunday.
