"99 - Who beats them all?" - Panagiota Petridou hosts fifth season

New Name, new Hostess: "99 - Who beats her all?" goes into its fifth round in August. As Sat.1 announced, the new season will start on Thursday, August 15, at 8:15 pm.

New Hostess, new Name, same Rules

Through the first seven episodes, Panagiota Petridou (44) moderates with the support of Florian "Schmiso" Schmidt-Sommerfeld (34) as a commentator. "It's a huge honor for me to moderate this insanely exciting, funny, and emotional show," Petridou is quoted as saying in a press release.

It was announced in March that Sat.1 would change the name of the show from "99 - One:s beats them all!" to "99 - Who beats her all?" The rules remain the same: In seven episodes, 100 candidates and contestants compete against each other in 98 challenging rounds, with the goal of determining the greatest all-around talent. The motto: Never be the last one! In the final duel, the final game (99), the best one can win €99,000.

The game show has been airing on Sat.1 since 2021. The first season was moderated by Johanna Klum (43), and seasons two through four were moderated by Melissa Khalaj (35).

Panagiota Petridou will continue her hosting role in the fifth season of "99 - Who beats her all?", airing on Sat.1 at 8:15 pm on August 15. Despite the show's name change from "99 - One:r beats them all!", the rules remain the same, as Petridou and commentator Florian "Schmiso" Schmidt-Sommerfeld reiterated: "Never be the last one!" as the motto, with the winner potentially taking home €99,000 in the final duel.
