Old timer Thomas Kretschmann (61) teams up with veteran actor Anthony Hopkins (86) in "Eyes in the Trees". As per "Deadline", Jonathan Rhys Meyers (47) and Ashley Greene (37) are also roped in, along with Praya Lundberg (35). At the moment, Kretschmann's part in the movie remains under wraps.

Actors Taking on These Roles

This modern adaptation of H.G. Wells' (1866-1946) novel "The Island of Dr. Moreau" sees Hopkins slip into the role of the main man. According to "Deadline", Meyers and Greene will play characters named Vince Henway and Channing Arneau, leading an expedition squad that stumbles upon the doctor's island laboratory experiments.

Production is set to kick off this year, and it's anticipated to hit cinemas in 2025. American director Timothy Woodward Jr. (40) will be steering the ship, and the script is penned by B. Harrison Smith, Dominic Burns (40), and Mike Manning (37), who will also produce the film.

Kretschmann's Previous Accomplishments

Thomas Kretschmann has graced international screens in movies such as "The Pianist" (2002), "Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny" (2023), and "Jungle" (2017), alongside Daniel Radcliffe (35). In "Valkyrie" (2008), he shared the screen with Tom Cruise (62). Anthony Hopkins has bagged leading roles in flicks like "Hannibal" (2001) and "The Silence of the Lambs" (1991), grabbing Oscars for his portrayal of Hannibal Lecter and his acting in "The Father".

Irish actor Meyers gained recognition through TV series "The Tudors" and "Vikings", while Ashley Greene rose to fame due to her part in the "Twilight" saga. Lundberg has taken charge as the lead in movies like "Bangkok Adrenalin" (2009).

In the adaptation of "The Island of Dr. Moreau", Ashley Greene will portray the character of Channing Arneau, joining an expedition squad led by Vince Henway, played by Jonathan Rhys Meyers.

Apart from her role in "Twilight", Ashley Greene has also made notable appearances in various films and TV shows.
