Hollywood star Keanu Reeves (59, "Speed", "The Matrix") reprised his role as the titular assassin John Wick for the fourth time in last year's action-thriller "John Wick: Chapter 4". Now, he's planning a continuation of the "John Wick" saga in a series format, stepping back from acting to take on the role of executive producer. Lionsgate Television is developing a series titled "John Wick: Under the High Table" that will tie into the events of the fourth film.

In "John Wick: Chapter 4", the professional killer fought for his life in 2023. The High Table, an organization that oversees all global criminal syndicates, wants him dead. Underworld boss Marquis de Gramont (Bill Skarsgård) has been given the authority to carry out the hit on the former ally turned rogue.

Chad Stahelski, who directed all four films, is set to helm the TV pilot and also serve as a producer, according to industry outlets "Variety" and "The Hollywood Reporter". This would be the second spin-off series. Last year, the prequel series "The Continental: From the World of John Wick" premiered on the Prime Video streaming service. The miniseries did not feature Reeves as John Wick, instead focusing on Winston Scott, the mysterious owner of the Continental Hotel, where assassins from around the world stay, in the 1970s.

People around the world are eagerly anticipating the upcoming "John Wick: Under the High Table" series, following Keanu Reeves' announcement of his executive producer role. The High Table, a notorious organization, played a significant role in the latest film, demanding John Wick's demise.
