- Nanny Super returns to aiding troubled households.

From 2004 to 2011, Katia Saalfrank (52) appeared on RTL as the renowned "Super Nanny," addressing family issues on the infamous "Silent Staircase." Now, she's back on RTL2 starting September 9, 2024, in "Help Us! The Family Savers." This entertainment show airs weekdays at 4:05 PM.

Dramatized family struggles showcased

In "Super Nanny," Katia visited families directly. In this new format, she will offer commentary from an outside perspective. RTL2 plans to portray common family disputes in emotionally charged scenes with the assistance of actors and extras. Saalfrank will dissect the family dynamics and propose "realistic solutions to restore family harmony."

Subjects to be covered include the appropriate amount of social media usage by children, as well as the challenges faced when an influencer mother wishes to exploit her offspring for camera time. Issues that "Super Nanny" did not encounter over its 20-year tenure.

Katia Saalfrank's Post-"Super Nanny" Journey

Saalfrank discontinued her work with RTL in 2011, claiming, as reported by "Spiegel," that her professional expertise was manipulated even to the detriment of pedagogical interests. RTL dismissed these claims.

In 2013, she transitioned to SWR, releasing an album under her musical alias and introducing the format "Expedition Family." However, the show was unsuccessful. She returned to commercial television in 2018 with "Now we help you!" which ran for a single season on Sat.1. In 2023, Katia Saalfrank was featured in Magenta TV advertisements as a couples therapist.

In her career after "The Super Nanny," Katia Saalfrank faced challenges with her shows on SWR and Sat.1. However, she continued to appear on television, now returning to RTL2 in 2024 to share her expertise in "Help Us! The Family Savers."

Despite the criticisms she faced in the past, Katia Saalfrank remains committed to addressing family issues, as she demonstrated in her long-running role as "The Super Nanny" on RTL.
