The Scorpions have had to scrap multiple shows during their German leg of their "Love at First Sting" tour. Unfortunately, all September gigs have been called off due to an accident that left guitarist Matthias Jabs (68) in need of surgical intervention and subsequent rehab. The mishap occurred recently.

Affected cities include Nuremberg (11.9.), Hamburg (13.9.), Leipzig (15.9.), Cologne (18.9.), and Frankfurt (20.9.).

Scorpions express regret over concert cancellations

The band has taken this decision with a heavy heart, as stated in a press release. They express their sincere apologies to the over 40,000 fans who have already acquired tickets and to the promoters as well. They are collaborating closely with the tour organizers to reveal updated information as swiftly as possible.

Named after their smash-hit album "Love at First Sting," which turned 40 this year and catapulted the band to global fame, the tour continues to make waves across the globe.

Despite the setbacks, the Scorpions are still determined to complete their "Love at First Sting" tour in Germany once Matthias Jabs has recovered. The cancellation of shows in Germany is unfortunate, especially considering their massive fanbase in cities like Nuremberg, Hamburg, Leipzig, Cologne, and Frankfurt.
