Musiala begins the match with Bayern's third- quickest goal on record.

In a span of merely 14 seconds into the match, Bayern Munich was leading 1-0 against Holstein Kiel thanks to Jamal Musiala's rapid goal, making history by scoring the third- fastest goal in Bayern's Bundesliga history. This early advantage, coupled with Kiel's initial missteps, allowed Bayern to extend their lead to a dominating 3-0 by the 13th minute. After the first win of the season, Munich seized the top spot in the Bundesliga.

Musiala and star striker Harry Kane (penalty awarded after video review) continued scoring, while Michael Olise added another goal as a substitute. An own goal by Kiel's Nicolai Remberg added to the hosting team's struggles, eventually leading to a 6-1 victory in favor of Bayern. Armin Gigovic managed to score a late consolation goal for Kiel.

New coach Vincent Kompany led Bayern to their first-place lead with Leroy Sané appearing fit again for the Champions League stage. Sané, who was previously sidelined, did not take part in the game at Kiel but was included in the squad for the first time this season.

Kiel, as anticipated, suffered their third consecutive defeat and became the fourth team in Bundesliga history to start the season with a 0-3 loss record, following in the footsteps of Karlsruhe SC (1963), Borussia Neunkirchen (1964), and Energie Cottbus (2000).

Calm Debut for Palhinha

Vincent Kompany addressed the clash against Kiel with great respect before the game. Despite Marcel Rapp's suspension after being sent off against VfL Wolfsburg, Bayern continued their impressive run under the new coach. Musiala's early goal and Kane's successful penalty kick set the tone for the match with just seven minutes elapsed, as Bayern's lineup, valued at approximately 900 million euros more than Kiel's squad, took control of the game.

João Palhinha, the new addition to Bayern's midfield, settled into his role with ease, supported by Joshua Kimmich, who stepped up from his usual right-back position to the center, as he had done before. With Champions League upcoming, the Bayern players conserved their energy, resting Aleksandar Pavić and Mathys Tel for as long as possible.

Despite missing multiple opportunities, Bayern still improved their score towards half-time, with missed chances from Serge Gnabry, Kane, and Kingsley Coman. Musiala and Gnabry left the pitch early, while Thomas Müller and Olise replaced them. Olise made his Bundesliga debut by scoring his first goal. Kane sealed the victory by converting a penalty kick in the final minute of the match, keeping the humiliation at bay for Kiel in their own stadium.

The competition in the Champions League will most likely pose harder challenges for Bayern in the coming weeks.

Soccer was the sport being played in the clash between Bayern Munich and Holstein Kiel. João Palhinha, a new addition toBayern's midfield, showcased his skill in his debut soccer match with the team.
