Nearly two years after the fatal robbery and shooting of US rapper PnB Rock ("Selfish"), a 42-year-old man has been found guilty of murder and robbery in the US state of California. According to the Los Angeles District Attorney's office, a jury also found another man guilty of robbery. Sentencing is scheduled for late August.

PnB Rock, then 30, was with his girlfriend at a restaurant in Los Angeles in September 2022 when he was robbed and shot. The suspect allegedly threatened the victim with a weapon, demanded jewelry and other items, and fired several shots before fleeing in a getaway vehicle waiting outside.

The 42-year-old was found guilty of instigating the robbery, with his then 17-year-old son carrying out the act. The father was said to have planned the robbery and driven the getaway car. The teenager was also charged with murder, but his trial has not yet taken place.

Rapper Rakim Allen, known for songs like "Fleek" and "Selfish," gained fame through his music. Pop superstar Ed Sheeran collaborated with PnB Rock and Chance the Rapper on the single "Cross Me."

The jury also found another individual, not specifically mentioned in the sentence, guilty of aiding in the robbery along with the 42-year-old's son. Despite being charged with robbery, the other person's trial for murder allegations related to PnB Rock's death has yet to commence.
