In a "Bunte" interview shortly after the joint announcement of their separation, Woitschack had spoken about how the relationship with Mross hadn't benefited from being so much in the public eye. In the "Playboy" interview, she added: "I was long influenced by the expectations that came from the outside, and I was afraid of making a mistake. That both her engagement and wedding to Stefan Mross took place on television, Woitschack described as "a great experience that I stood behind 100 percent at the time and that no one can take away from me. But I look more to the future than to the past, and it's okay that this relationship is in the past."
