The European Parliament elections are happening since Thursday. In Germany, people are asked to vote on Sunday. Micaela Schäfer, best known for her naked persona, also encourages others to vote. However, she does it in her unique way.

Micaela Schäfer, a 40-year-old self-proclaimed "naked snail," is famous for undressing and expressing her sexuality. But now, she has found a new passion - politics. She became a member of the CDU, a political party, in April. Her friend, Julian F.M. Stoeckel, has also joined the party recently.

Schäfer combined her party membership with a political statement: "I believe it's important to show that you vote. I am worried about so many people voting for the AfD," she told Bild newspaper.

To emphasize her message, Schäfer posted several photos on her Instagram page, showing her voting process. She is seen wearing a blazer, a pearl necklace, and a wig similar to Angela Merkel's hairstyle. She fills out her ballot papers, holds the envelope, and posts it in the mailbox.

"My darlings, there's an EU election on June 9th. Go vote! Voting is cool and sexy!" she told her 470,000 followers and subscribers. She used hashtags like "#democracy," "#freedom," and "#voting is important."

Despite her political aspirations, Schäfer remains true to herself. In the photos, she wears a mini-slip, stockings, and high-heeled red shoes. In some pictures, she can be seen lying on a couch, in bed, and even in the bathroom.

Even though Schäfer's political engagement is making waves, her obsession with Merkel isn't new. Ten years ago, she posed for a calendar in a CDU-inspired outfit, completely naked. How will her new party friends react to this revelation?

She already played Merkel once in 2014.
