Rupert Murdoch: Media Mogul in the Spotlight - Media tycoon gives another affirmative response.
Murdoch, a prominent Australian-born billionaire aged 93, granted approval to his fifth wife, Russian former molecular biologist Elena Zhukova (67), on Saturday at his California vineyard Moraga Estate.
A series of images published by The Sun, a newspaper that was once part of the News Corporation led by Murdoch, featured the newlywed pair in the property's picturesque garden. Zhukova donned a chic white, strapless gown by Emilia Wickstead, a London-based designer known for outfitting high-profile figures such as Princess Kate (42) and Duchess Meghan (42).
Murdoch's regal attire featured a simple, refined gray suit, combining it with a golden tie and a pair of comfy sneakers.
Past Wedding Announcements
Murdoch had publicized a forthcoming nuptial ceremony - though, at that point, he was still attached to Anna Lesley Smith (67), the expired spouse of American country singer Chester Smith (1930-2008). The relationship between Murdoch and Smith dissipated two weeks post this statement, as reported by Vanity Fair and other outlets.
Ranking in the Wealthiest Individuals
Boasting an approximate fortune of $19.5 billion, Murdoch rests amongst the 75 richest people in the world. Famed as the founder of News Corporation, incorporating the popular American cable news network Fox News, Murdoch finalized his divorce from his fourth wife, American actress Jerry Hall (67), in 2022, a six-year union.
Only Deng, Murdoch's ex-wife number three and a TV executive, was present for his wedding to Zhukova. Zhukova, a Russian by origin, had been wedded to Alexander Zhukov (69), a British entrepreneur of Russian descent previously. Additionally, Zhukova's daughter, Russian-American art collector Dasha (42), was formerly in wedlock with Russian tycoon Roman Abramovich (57) until 2017.
