In a stunning turn of events, the Mavericks triumphed over the Oklahoma City Thunder in a thrilling, nail-biting game six. The Mavericks edged out the Thunder with a score of 117-116 (48-64) to advance, winning a total of four games in this series.
The game began with the Mavericks trailing by quite a bit, even facing a 17-point deficit during the third quarter. However, they didn't give up and managed to turn the game around with Dončić leading the way. The German player for the Mavericks, Maxi Kleber, missed out on the entire series against the Thunder due to a shoulder injury sustained during the previous matchup against the Los Angeles Clippers. Now, the Mavericks will take on the Denver Nuggets or the Minnesota Timberwolves, who are currently locked in a tense 3-3 series with an upcoming game seven set for Monday night.
