A Matrimonial Ceremony - Lugner's sixth wedding: the groom and bride have accepted the proposal.

Ninety-one-year-old Austrian construction tycoon Richard Lugner exchanged vows with his new bride, Simone Reilaender, in the Vienna town hall. Their wedding was not shrouded in secrecy, with both the senior and his bride sharing details with the media, giving regular interviews, and even sharing pictures of Reilaender getting ready for the big day.

Lugner, who's famous for his public appearances with a notable partner at the Vienna Opera Ball, had promised countless times to his fifth wife that it would be his last marriage. However, here he is, getting married for the sixth time. His new bride is 42 years old and has never been married before. Their wedding had a small gathering of friends and a lot of photographers there to capture the moment. The bride teared up as she said "I do," and Lugner held her hand throughout the ceremony.

The bride's long white gown and her preparations for the wedding were also documented by the media, making sure everyone was in the loop about her choice of attire and where she bought it. After the exchange of promises and rings, they shared a congratulatory kiss, with Lugner later saying, "We're chained together now."

The last time Lugner had promised it would be his last marriage, he had been married to his fifth wife, who is several decades younger than him. He has four children from his previous relationships, with his eldest son even being old enough to potentially be his new bride's father. They were born in 1963. "This will be the last marriage," Lugner claimed before the reception.

Reilaender works as an assistant manager at a home improvement store. Rather than taking some off-time to have a traditional honeymoon, she was expected to return to work on Tuesday. To support his new wife, Lugner plans to promote her to a higher position in his company in the summer, he told the press.

Lugner's previous brides have had pet names like "Mouse," while he has called his fifth wife "Bee." This sixth wife, the youngest so far, didn't seem too fond of the dog names her husband previously gave to his previous wives. "I'm going to respect that," he admitted in one of his many interviews.

When asked if he was happy, he replied, "Happiness is overrated. My whole life has been content." Despite some negative past experiences, Lugner explained, "Everything negative, I've cut off."
