- Long party for the ladies: "Almost done"
Isabell Werth and Jessica von Bredow-Werndl didn't get much sleep after their spectacular Olympic conclusion. "It was quite short, we almost finished with it," said dressage rider Werth about the night and the party at the German house after winning silver in the individual event. Olympic champion von Bredow-Werndl was active as a dancer: "I think I danced for about two hours," she said, smiling.
The 38-year-old is looking forward to going home after the Olympic days with two gold medals. "I'm going straight home with the kids. I'm already looking forward to being at home, being more of a mom than I am here - and seeing the other horses and my dog," she said.
The Olympic Games proved to be a memorable experience for both Isabell Werth and Jessica von Bredow-Werndl, as they celebrated their success with a night of celebration at the German house following their impressive performances. After their victories, they both expressed their eagerness to return to their normal lives, with von Bredow-Werndl hoping to spend more time as a mother and Werth excited to reconnect with her own family and horses.
