LA Clippers sign basketball world champion Theis
Basketball world champion Daniel Theis is moving to the Los Angeles Clippers. This was announced by the club from the North American professional league NBA.
The 31-year-old had previously been under contract with the Indiana Pacers, where he did not play a major role this season and only made one appearance.
The Clippers had been looking for a replacement for center Mason Plumlee, who will be out for a few weeks due to a knee injury. Theis, who was born in Salzgitter and was one of the guarantors of the World Cup title in Asia this summer, has also played in the NBA for the Boston Celtics, the Chicago Bulls and the Houston Rockets.
