Premier League - Klopp: Writing off Manchester City would be "the biggest joke"
Despite Manchester City's four Premier League games without a win in a row, Liverpool coach Jürgen Klopp has warned that the defending champions are no longer among the candidates for the title in England.
"If anyone should write City off, then that is obviously the biggest joke, it makes no sense," said Klopp after his team's 2-0 win at bottom club Sheffield United.
City lost 1-0 to Aston Villa in the day's top match and slipped to fourth in the table. Aston Villa are third with two points more than coach Pep Guardiola's team. Arsenal FC are top of the table, followed by Liverpool in second place with two points less. City are currently six points behind Arsenal.
