Kim Gloss, the singer, has been fairly inactive on social media lately. She's finally opened up about why she's been taking a break, revealing to her followers that she went through surgery on her head due to a brain tumor. Thankfully, the procedure was a success, and she's now focusing on taking care of herself.
"Hey everyone, it's been super quiet here recently, I'm sorry to say there's a reason for that," reads Kim's update on her social media. "I had to undergo surgery on my head because of a brain tumor," she divulges in her Instagram stories.
The ordeal is now in the past, as she writes, "everything went well," indicating that she's on the road to recovery. She's been in the limelight since 2010 when she appeared on RTL's "Germany is looking for a superstar", finishing fourth. Besides singing, she rose to prominence as a reality TV star, participating in "I'm a Star - Get Me Out of Here!" in 2012, where she came in second behind Brigitte Nielsen, the Jungle Queen.
Her time in the jungle turned out to be much more than just a TV stint; it was also where she met actor Rocco Stark and fell in love. The two had a child together in 2013. This too was captured by RTL in several follow-up shows. Eventually, they broke up in 2013. Now, Kim Gloss is married to her new partner, Alexander, and they had a daughter together in 2022.
