The new series project, which has yet to find a streaming home, is titled "John Wick: Under The High Table" and will pick up directly from the events of "John Wick: Chapter 4". After John Wick leaves the world of the High Table, "a new set of characters try to make a name for themselves while some familiar faces remain loyal to the old order", according to a plot description for the potential action series published by "Deadline".
Behind the scenes, "The Old Man" co-creator Robert Levine is overseeing the project and will serve as showrunner alongside "John Wick" director Chad Stahelski (55). Stahelski, who has directed all four released films in the franchise, will also be an executive producer on "Under The High Table", along with Keanu Reeves.
Reeves is expected to be heavily involved in the project but has not yet been confirmed for an acting role. In addition to the new "John Wick" series, which is likely to find a home on a major international streaming service, the spin-off film "John Wick Presents: Ballerina" will also be released next year.
