The Halloween Special of the comedy format "LOL: Last One Laughing" is taking shape. This Wednesday (August 14), Amazon Prime announced the cast for the special episodes. Among them are comedy veterans, a singer, and famous twins.

Comedy Heavyweights, Actors, Musicians

The No-Laughing Challenge will be taken on by Tokio Hotel musicians Bill and Tom Kaulitz (34), who will make another appearance on a streaming service after the first season of their Netflix docu-series "Kaulitz & Kaulitz".

Joining them are Mirja Boes (52) and Torsten Sträter (57), Palina Rojinski (39) and Olaf Schubert (56), and Annette Frier (50) and singer Sasha (52). Some of them have already gained experience in "LOL: Last One Laughing", with Sträter and Boes even winning a season.

As always, Michael Bully Herbig (56) will be the host. Fans can catch the three Halloween episodes on Prime Video in October.

Halloween Special in Teams of Two

In "LOL: Last One Laughing", mainly well-known German comedians compete against each other. They have to spend several hours together in a limited space, trying to make each other laugh. Whoever laughs twice or smiles is eliminated.

Unlike the regular season, participants in the Halloween Special will compete in teams of two, as announced by Amazon Prime. "For three hours, they will try to suppress any hint of a smile in a spooky, Halloween-appropriate setting while trying to make the other teams laugh with all means necessary," the statement reads. The winning team will receive the "LOL Halloween Trophy" and can look forward to 50,000 euros for a good cause.

The German version of the format with Michael Bully Herbig first aired in 2021. There are now five seasons and a Christmas special.

Michael "Bully" Herbig, the renowned host of "LOL: Last One Laughing", will once again preside over the Halloween Special.

In the upcoming Halloween Special, comedy heavyweight Michael "Bully" Herbig will oversee teams of two competing in a spooky setting.
