Princess Kate (42) selected a very special photo for Princess Consort Camilla's (77) 77th birthday. In her Instagram Story, she and husband Prince William (42) shared a candid shot of the Queen on July 17. The photo was taken by the Princess herself in the garden of her house Raymill in Wiltshire last year. In the picture, the birthday girl is seen smiling next to a basket of flowers in Kate's camera.
"We wish Your Majesty all the best on your birthday", wrote the heir to the throne pair under the photo. The photo was featured on the cover of the British magazine "Country Life" in 2022. It has become a tradition that for the birthdays of the members of the royal family, pictures taken personally by the photography enthusiast are shared.
On the official X Account (formerly Twitter) of the Palace, there were also birthday wishes for the Queen. "We wish Your Majesty, the Queen, all the best on this birthday", it read under a photo of the Jubilarian smiling into the camera. The picture comes from the recently ended two-day visit to the Channel Islands.
In her Instagram Story, the family also shared another photo of Camilla and a short clip from the day before. "The birthday celebrations began early in Guernsey yesterday", was written under a video in which the Queen is presented with a birthday stand by the students of Sark School on the Channel Islands.
